Dear Congress Person,

The recent high-profile violence has completely diluted the root causes for what ails our country. Our country's leaders, (whoever they may really be,) are diverting the attention of we the people from the core issues to blaming an inanimate object like guns. I will state what should be as obvious as day and night. The American people as a society is breaking down and history has proven time and time again that this is a symptom of collapse.

First we must educate our children! Public schools are failing our children, couple this with poor parenting, (also a product of poor education), and you get generation X.. A large portion of crime is credited to our youth of poorly parented, poorly educated, environment. We should have the sharpest children on the face of the earth, but what we have you need to investigate.

Second to impose any positive change we must have complete and total unbiased leaders. No external influence from any lobbies. Campaign reform must be a level playing field for all who aspire to the honorable job of public office. This means X. dollars per candidate from we the people, no PAC money, no foreign money, only X. dollars from a campaign fund that we the people provide with our taxes.

Politics have become a battleground for parties. Let's first be Americans, not Republicans and Democrats. Let's focus on the cancers that produced people that kill for attention that they don't get enough of at home or school.

I strongly believe in our first two amendments, but the media continually skews the causes of violence by diverting the blame to the gun. The gun which is inert if not touched by a human. We kill around 50,000 Americans with our cars. Should we ban our cars?

The second amendment states, " A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." In black and white it states, "the people," and "not to be infringed." The constitutional hair splitters are claiming this is a right for militias not people, but it says, "the people." This amendment was clearly written to insure a free state, free of tyranny.

Guns are the one thing that keeps we the people from being a Third World country of people throwing rocks at government troops and dying to be heard.

I'm not a gun hugger. I prefer to live in a society where my choice would be not to carry a licensed handgun, but my government, and my police, which I help finance aren't around if I need them. The only protection provided for myself, my family, and the good citizens around me, when I am out of my house is my licensed gun. If any of the high-profile crimes of recent had happened around me the sick American perpetrators would have been stopped. With the people paid to protect us are failing, and a judicial system that is far too lenient, the only hope I can see for securing a free state is a well armed people who are so tired of the carnage that they are willing to do that which those we pay for the job can't do.

I will leave this preaching for now since time is a large commodity for me, since I need to spend so much time working and paying large amounts of tax to finance a broken system. In the near future I will voice my thoughts on my Web page that is still under construction. I will be able to be found at, WWW.ANOBODY.COM within the next few months, but I wish to stay anonymous. I want improvement not notoriety.

Your fellow American,

The Put Up Or Shut Up Argument In Gun Control

What is not being mentioned in the Main Stream Media is that hunters, many of who use semi automatic rifles with high capacity magazines provide more food for the homeless than any other group of people.

Front page of the Houston Chronicle dated February 6, 2013 ran a headline, “Harris County has plan to bring home the bacon”  The feral hog population in Texas is out of control and in an effort to reduce the population they plan to capture and process hogs to feed the homeless.  In Texas tons of pork is donated to homeless shelters and organizations that feed the hungry.

Hunters have been quietly donating tons of meat to organizations that feed the hungry for an unspoken number of years.  Groups like Hunters harvest and Hunters for Hungry have been gathering meat donations from hunters via local processing plants.  Groups like these are supplied large volumes of game meat from hunting members of organizations like the Safari Club International.  A member of the Houston Safari Club reported that hunters in an effort to manage game populations need to cull the herds to insure the health of the animals.  This creates harvesting in excess of what the hunters can eat.  This led to the donating of meat by the tons to the hungry as in homeless shelters for example.

Many are calling for gun control base on their emotions but the facts weigh in on the side of gun owners.  All the anti gun arguers combined don’t have a leg to stand on when it comes to what they do to help the less fortunate in comparison to gun owning hunters in this country.  Gun owning hunters clearly let their actions and deeds speak for themselves instead of knee jerk emotions sparked by a tragedy that happen to involve a gun.

When the anti gun whiners do for the less fortunate as much as the gun owning hunters do then they may earn the right to be vocal and be seen as having a bit of validity in their arguments.   The righteous point always prevails in the end.
